Gas Mark 1 was started trading 18 years ago and opened its first showroom 17 years ago. In that time we have established ourselves as the largest independent providers of gas services in the area and have become known as local company that you can trust. We not only provide a first class installation service, we pride ourselves on a great back up service which is why so many people recommend Gas Mark 1 to their friends and family.
Just as every other gas installation company we are finding it increasingly difficult to recruit skilled gas engineers. As we base our reputation on the quality of our workmanship it is our policy to recruit and train within. We have just started our latest influx of first year apprentices and we will recruit 3 new apprentices who will undergo a three year training program.
Although this takes time, money and effort we reap the rewards as we have just had four apprentices pass their final exams to become engineers. This brings the total number of men working in the field to about 45 making us one of the biggest and most reliable service providers in the area.
All of our engineers carry the correct qualifications for the work they do and we always aim to provide a quality and reliable service. We also find that customers are more comfortable, especially when spending their money, dealing with a company that has 2 large showrooms situated in 2 prominent High Street positions.
